Goal: One if by land, many if by sea (boats, that is). You fight this battle on sea, for the most part, but this scenario is another easy one. First, defeat the Libyans on the sea to control the waterways, then invade their land and capture the artifact. Return the artifact to your shores, and you win. The Skinny: You can win this one quickly if you wrest control of the seas from the Libyans. Have all your initial villagers collect wood, then build another three villagers to gather berries. Build a few more villagers as the meat rolls in and have them pick berries. Your coastline buildings will be harassed by Libyan ships, but you can ignore them until they start attacking your dock. Try to wait to build ships until you have enough meat to upgrade them to a war galley. Build three war galleries and start attacking the Libyan navy one by one. You can probably gain control of the seas for a brief time. Build a few fishing ships, then some more war galleries. Continue to build villagers as well. Build a barracks and a few axemen. The Libyans will try to invade if you leave them alone, but you can use your navy to harass their coastline buildings. You may be able to attack their transports to keep them from invading. Keep building ships and mining gold. Advance to the Iron Age, upgrade your navy, and build a couple of catapult triremes. You can use these to take out 80 percent of the Libyans' structures. Invade them with a small force and return with the relic to win. Dangers: The Libyans will build ship after ship if you let them. Maintain superiority of numbers on the seas, and you'll be fine. If they gain control, however, they will launch an invasion, so be prepared for it. If you hold this off, you can then build at a more leisurely pace.
