Voices of Babylon Campaign #1: Holy Man

These look like good candidates for conversion

Goal: Convert or destroy the rival civilizations.

The Skinny: You start with a lone priest. Head east and cross the river to find the village of Akkam. Begin to convert the villagers there.

With your first convert, build a town center. Then have him chop wood. You will need wood for houses and a barracks, so have the first few converts all chop wood then have the others gather food.

The key to winning this scenario is to leave the Elam scout alone. Elam is located in the western corner and is the threat in this scenario. If you attack or convert the scout, Elam will send over an attack force earlier.

Ignore the scout and continue to chop wood, gather berries, convert any other villagers, and build some clubmen. Elam will send over an attack force shortly, which you'll need to fend off. Use your priest to convert one of the Elam axemen, but take care to not let your priest be harmed.

After you fend off the attack, the game progresses in a routine fashion. You need to grow your city now, building new villagers and clubmen, upgrading to the Tool Age, etc. There is some gold in the Akkam village that you can mine when you get to the Bronze Age. Build an attack force and head across the river to the west to destroy Elam. Come back and destroy the remaining Akkam structures to win the game.

Dangers: You will be attacked early, so be ready. Make sure you don't lose your priest.
