Voices of Babylon Campaign #3: Lost

Position your priest so that he gets plenty of time to convert the transport ship

Goal: Destroy the Hittites.

The Skinny: There are two big hurdles you have to clear in this scenario, then it becomes a conventional build-up-and-conquer scenario.

You start on an island near the southern edge of the map. You have one priest and a handful of composite bowmen. There is an island to the north of you that has three enemy bowmen and an enemy priest. Move your priest up the edge of the shallows and position your bowmen behind him on land.

Have one of your composite bowmen take a shot at the enemy. The enemy will run away and get in their transport boat to come to your island. This is the first hurdle. You must convert the transport. It's your only way off the island. If you're lucky, you will convert it before it unloads, then you can unload the enemy elsewhere. If not, your bowmen will protect your priest while he continues to convert the boat.

After you convert the boat, you have to face your next hurdle. An island in the west corner contains one enemy villager and two enemy catapults. You can sacrifice your bowmen to destroy the catapults, or you can attempt to lure them to the south edge of their island with your transport. If you are successful, sail south then loop back and go to the north edge of the island to unload your priest and convert the villager.

Just to the east is a nice island for building your city. Land there and use the villager to get started on it. The enemy is just to the south on a different island. You have gold and stone, so at this point you simply need to build an army and take out the enemy. Use catapults to destroy what you can from your island then land your troops on the northern edge of the enemy island to destroy them.

Dangers: You may have to restart this one several times to get both the transport ship and the enemy villager. It's a bit tricky.
