One of the treasures you need to capture

Goal: Capture the two missing treasures.

The Skinny: This is one of those fast-build missions. You'll get overrun if you don't efficiently harvest and build, and you'll need a lot of wood for boats.

You start with a small village. There's no meat or berries nearby, but there are fish. Start chopping wood and build some fishing ships to gather meat.

Build a barracks and a storage pit and get to the Tool Age. Now is the time to build a navy of scout ships - the more the better. The best way to tackle this scenario is to rule the seas. The enemy will send both war galleys and transports to land an invasion force, so you'll need axemen to protect your villagers. Building a second dock to build twice as many ships is a bit of a gamble, and to make it pay off you might have to go cheap on the axemen to build more villagers to gather wood faster. But if you pull this off and build enough ships quickly enough, you can rule the water. The best defense is a strong navy to destroy the transport ships en route.

Take the fight to the enemy docks and destroy them to really eradicate the problem. To do so, get to the Bronze Age and upgrade your navy. Then find the enemy docks and scuttle them. Go to the southeast portion of the map and find the first enemy dock on the south edge of the island there. They may rebuild their dock, so check back.

After you destroy it, quickly hurry back and go after the other enemy dock. This dock is on the eastern side of the island in the southwest edge of the map and is well defended.

Once you destroy the docks your chance of being invaded is about zero, so you can now build an invading force and get back those treasures.

The first treasure is located on an island just to the west of your settlement. Send a small force and a few villagers to dispatch the clubmen waiting there. Grab the treasure but leave the villagers to mine the gold on the island.

The next treasure is quite a bit harder to get. Go back to the island in the southeast and bombard it from the seas to soften it. There's a wall around the island, but you can find a few gaps or make your own. Invading the island can be a bloody affair, and it may take several waves to succeed, but it's pretty straightforward. Build a barracks and a few towers when you get a foothold and start pumping out units. Eventually you will wear the enemy down.

Dangers: You have to survive the early naval battle and any invading forces that make it to your shores. Then you have to quickly neutralize the enemy docks to avoid further navel grief. It gets easier after this, but these two tasks can be difficult.
