A long hallway featuring sliding spiked blocks leads to an elevator that goes up. Here, you will face another hallway with these sliding blocks and a pair of guards. Along a north wall is a doorway that leads to another elevator up. Here, you will find, thank goodness, a mana regenerator and a shopkeeper. The shopkeeper will give you a nice hint. Out in the courtyard, you will want to be invisible as you walk between patrolling guards on your way to the castle in the northeast. The castle is a new level and consists of a central courtyard with surrounding rooms and hallways. The main double doors at the northeast end of the castle are guarded by two tough customers and require a silver key. Find the key in a chest in one of the side rooms on the northwest end of the castle. Once inside the double doors, go southwest and around to the stairs leading up. A nearby set of stairs leading down brings you to an entertaining jailbreak scene, if you don't mind side-tracking before you ascend the stairs that lead up. Upstairs, a guard patrols a set of rooms that can only be exited (to the northeast) with a sapphire key. The guard carries the key, so you must kill him. Keep moving through doorways until you arrive at the throne room of Horrendous. Free the two captive wizards, then do long battle with Horrendous. When you kill him, you will obtain his halberd, a fine weapon, and the goal of your quest. Head out the main southeast door, and the chapter will end.
