Warrior Single-Player Strategies
Select the warrior class if you desire a tough, nose-to-nose fight through the world of Nox. Lacking spells and the ability to charm monsters, the warrior fights basically on his own with his powerful melee and ranged weapons, durable armor, and crafty special abilities to aid him. Unlike the wizard and conjurer, the warrior has access to Nox's most powerful melee weaponry (as well as excellent ranged weapons). Only the warrior can equip the battle axes, maces, swords, and war hammers you'll find in your travels. Further, only the warrior can wear the most durable chain and plate mail armor.

Using Special Skills
Five special skills make up for the warrior's lack of spell casting and beast charming. These abilities help counter some of the advantages to the wizard and conjurer class, specifically spell casting and trap laying. In the single-player game, you'll gain one ability for each of the first five level advancements.
Berserker Charge
Use the berserker charge to ram a nearby enemy. Pressing the shortcut key initiates the charge in the direction you're facing (much quicker); or, you can press the charge icon and designate your target on screen. Selecting your target takes more time, but you're unlikely to miss. Should you miss on the charge, you'll likely ram a wall or other object, sustaining confusion and some damage.
Use the berserker charge on some of the tougher creatures you'll face early in Nox, when you don't have the weaponry and armor to handle them with ease. For instance, the giant scorpions can be tough if you attempt to fight them hand-to-hand. But, use the berserker charge, and you'll knock them out in a single blow. The charge takes time to recharge, so, should you miss, retreat and flee until the icon lights up again.
