Conjurer Walk-through
Selecting the conjurer takes you through a path filled with ranged weaponry, spells, and summoned creatures. Succeeding as the multi-talented conjurer requires the charming of evil beasts and the placing of crafty spell combinations into the conjurer's powerful bombers. Below you'll find the complete walkthrough for the conjurer's eleven chapter quest.
Chapter 1 - Shortcut to Ix
The Captain drops you off just outside a system of caves that he says leads to your future mentor's cottage. He sends you on your way with a steak and an apple, which you should graciously accept as you head into the opening to your northeast.
Quest: Find Aldwyn's Cottage in the Village of Ix
The caves are an unstable system of tunnels, which collapse behind you after you enter them a short distance. A bear attack during the collapse cutscene ends unhappily for the bear. To your northwest is a room with an elevator, which you can ride down after you run into a red button on the wall.
To your northeast, you will find a spell book of pixie swarm on the ground. The spell's glyph will pop into the quick spell slot that is triggered by the A key. Since there is a mana crystal in the room, hit the A key to summon a pair of pixies. Regenerate your mana by standing next to the crystal. In general, when you find a mana crystal, cast as many protective spells onto yourself as you can, then regenerate your mana to full. Your pixies, for example, are more likely to spot and attack your enemies faster than you will, so have them ready.

Head north and fight the urchin. To your northeast is a secret wall that you can break through with your staff. Running southwest will trigger a cutscene in which boulders will set off a series of explosive barrels. You can douse the flames by pushing a water barrel into them. In a nearby crate is a spell book of lesser heal.
Continue until you find a wooden door that requires a silver key. You have two options: first, you can find such a key in a chest to your southeast; second, you can head northwest and by rolling a boulder to one side you can drop down a hole. There are goodies down here, including a tunic. An elevator brings you up on the opposite side of the silver key door.
Head southeast to an elevator that runs when you push a red button in a nearby room. When you go up the elevator, you will be outside in a forest. The gates to the city of Ix are quite close by.
