Chapter 6 - The Halbred of Horrendous Quest: Battle Your Way to the Fortress and Help Defend it Against the Undead You'll begin just outside the entrance to Ix. Proceed to the northwest and speak with Bauer, a wounded warrior. You'll find scattered skeletons and zombies roaming around. A necromancer and a few undead guards wait just before the bridge leading to the fortress. Enter the town and observe the two warriors fighting zombies. Talk to them, and they'll join your crusade. Enter the shop on the eastern side of town if you need supplies. Search the town. Even though you've been here in previous levels, you'll still find barrels and unopened chests. Head toward the northeast, and you'll encounter a mob of undead. Defeat the undead and head through the doors to the northeast. Talk to Nogan and Mallory on the other side, and they'll join you. It's time to find Horrendous! Quest: Enter the Fortress and Find Horrendous An intersection splits the path around the fortress. You can go either northwest or southeast around, but both lead to the same general area. If you go northwest, you must use a lever to get inside the fortress. If you head southeast, you'll come across a corpse with some decent armor. Either way, you'll face a variety of undead enemies, including skeletons and zombies. Enter the fortress and search the various rooms; you'll find some gold and zombies. Locate a staircase leading upstairs to the northeast. Explore the upstairs. To the southeast, you'll bump into a door requiring a ruby key. You'll find the ruby key in a chest to the northwest of the floor. A door requiring the sapphire key lies to the northeast.
