Head over the bridge and lava river. Talk to the guards just before the town if you wish; they'll provide some information about the gauntlet and the town of Dün Mir, but nothing significant. When you're ready, walk under the arch to enter the town. Once inside, approach the armored fighter and observe the brief cutscene; two armored guards beat up an alleged wizard spy. Once the guards leave, grab the flimsy staff left behind (you can sell or keep the staff). The general store lies to the right; enter inside if you wish and purchase additional equipment. The town of Dün Mir isn't that large. A fountain serves as a distinguishing landmark in the center of town. To the southwest, you'll find a set of rooms that contain several chests, barrels, and crates. Enter and open the chests for gold and bust the barrels and crates for apples, meat, and cider. A tavern lies to the northeast and contains some gold inside the storage room. To the north of the fountain (slightly northeast of the Dün Mir fortress), you'll find a secret area with some gold. To the northwest of the fountain (just west of the Dün Mir fortress) you'll find a well of restoration (it heals any damage when clicked) and the orchard. After exploring the town, speak with the quartermaster standing in front of the Dün Mir fortress. He says that to enter the fortress and the gauntlet, you'll need official sponsorship.
