You will eventually arrive at a room whose floor is decorated with criss-crosses. A staff of fireball lies on the far side of the criss-crossed floor, but you can access it by using your pull spell. Pulling the book toward you will cause it to drop through the floor. Step onto the criss-crosses and drop through yourself. The gate to your northwest leads to an elevator that returns you to the criss-crossed room. The gate to the southeast continues on into the level. Head this way and ride the elevator up. Proceed generally northwest until you come to a room lined with spiked crushers. Jump the switchplates and go down the stairs at the far end of the room. Once you fight off a group of zombies, you can read a sign on the wall, which reads "Keeper of souls." Explore the rest of the doorways first, and you will find a spell book, which will protect you from electric shocks. Now, go through the door with the sign beside it and jump past the flame walls. You will find yourself in a room with no less than eight mana regenerators - a sure sign of a big fight! Summon some bombers before attempting to open one of the coffins along the north wall. When you open one, the keeper will appear. He wields a lightning staff, and if he manages to get a grip on you with it, you're finished. Keep him at bay by shooting pixies at him and, whenever you can manage it, hit him with slow and meteor. When he is dead, loot his goodies and go out the door to the northeast.
