Walk north to Mordwyn's gates. He will greet you and invite you inside. Follow him there and talk to him several times until he mentions a secret panel in the back of his cottage. The secret panel is to the left of the desk you see to your northeast. In the garden is a spell book, and there is another in his bedroom. Be sure to put on the magic clothes he has given you before you exit his cottage and go through the doorway to your southeast.

Now, it's time to find the ogre outpost. As you head east, you may fall through the ground and land amid spikes and monsters. If you do, you can find an elevator up to your north. It takes you up into a crypt that has two mana regenerators. Go out into the next room and go straight. Take a right, and you'll come to a T. To your southeast is a room where a necromancer will fight you (if you walk through the cage's gate). To your northwest is a sequence of rooms that eventually leads outside. Fight your way through the graveyard and go out the southeast gates. Soon, you will be back at one of the spots where you fell through the ground.

The ogre outpost is to your east. You may once again fall through the ground, but if you do, there is an elevator to your southeast guarded by a large ogre. In a chest next to him is a silver key. Go southeast and up the elevator, and you will be inside an ogre hut. There is a gold key in here. Outside, free the prisoner, and he will give you a spell book.

Go northwest out the main gates and continue until you can turn north and cross a pair of bridges. You will be grateful to encounter a shopkeeper who lives in these swamps. Go northwest from his shop, and you will encounter a necromancer in a clearing. A boulder to your north allows passage to a place guarded by ogres. Your journal will update at this time.
