Chapter 3 - A Dangerous Errand
Horvath is pleased, but his quests for you are just beginning. He sends you after an amulet that you have never seen and tells you how to get started.

Quest: Retrieve the Amulet of Teleportation which Stravas has Created Speak again with Horvath as this chapter begins. He will give you this new quest and let you pass through the bookcases to your southeast. Ride the elevator down and ride the next one down, too. There you will meet a man who fixes elevators, who will warn you about spiders in the secret tunnels.

Return to the elevator once it's repaired.
Enter the tunnels by exiting the northwest door. The tunnels are a bit maze-like, but if you head generally southwest, you will come to an area that has a wooden door exiting from it to the southwest. Inside is a rogue archer who guards a spell book of pull. Use the pull spell to drag the water barrels to your northwest over the flames, so you can get to the next room. There, you will find a beast scroll for wasps.

Go back out the door and take a right. This passage leads to more tunnels that are populated with rogues and wolves. The dangerous wolves will run away if wounded, so be ready to track them down with a magic missile as they flee. Keep moving southwest, and you'll find a hole in the northwest wall that brings you to a new area (signified by the loading icon).

In this new area, a large boulder along the southwest wall is blocking a narrow passage to a room with two doors. Both doors lead to the same large living area and inside you can expect a knock-down drag-out fight with several rogues, who, like the wolves, flee when injured. Go in with your force field in place for an easier time of it. When rogue archers who stand behind gates assault you, you can escape by running northwest into a narrow passage that leads to a shopkeeper.
