When you open the doorway to the north and northwest, you'll face a mechanical golem. Don't fight the golem at close range. Use a variety of ranged weapons to defeat the beast. Two side halls open one you've defeated the mechanical golem; look through the windows and toss ranged weapons to hit the two red buttons at the end. The buttons open left and right hallways in the main room. A door to the northwest requires the ruby key. Head left and navigate the small maze, killing gargoyles as you move. Locate the ruby key (potions also in the same room). Head right and navigate a nearly identical maze. The sapphire key lies at the end. Return to the main room and head northwest to open both doors. The room includes many orange, circular objects that act almost like a pinball machine. Navigate the room and pull the lever in the northwest section. Head through the opening to the northeast section. Avoid the spike traps in the hall. Continue through, defeating a variety of enemies (including a necromancer, gargoyles, and a quick warrior) until you reach a room with laser fields blocking the doors; to the south you'll find a lift. At the top of the lift, you'll reach a three-way intersection - the doors that lead into different halls. The middle door is locked, so go left or right; both lead to the same point. Look through the window and use a ranged weapon to hit the red button. This opens the middle door. Return and head through. Grab the blue idol key and use the lever, which turns off a laser field in the previous area. Return down lift and go north through the opened door. Open the chest immediately inside for a potion and a hefty sword. A laser beam rotates around the room and will kill you in a single blow. Wait for the laser to pass to the right and follow it up near the top of the room. Trigger the two golems up here and run south near the room's entrance; the golems will follow you and get crushed by the laser. Pull the lever near the golems' start position to turn off the laser field to the northwest. Head through the northwest.
