Proceed down the right path now to locate the cavern's exit. It's possible, if you've been killing all the monsters and locating secret areas, that you will advance a level while inside this cavern; you'll receive war cry as a reward. Approach Brigadin, the guard at the door. Enter and speak with the guards, who seem pleased to see you. Follow the forest path north. A well-armed thug attacks along the western side. Kill him for a copper round shield. You can enter the western alcove for some food and gold. An eastern path leads to a new enemy creature, the wolf, and some gold. Resume your journey along the forest path as it heads to the west. You'll enter a small village. A path along the southwest leads to the closed mana mines (a small alcove to the north along the path to the mana mines includes some wolves and gold). A path to the south leads to Castle Galava, which you also can't get into (a small alcove to the south along the path to Castle Galava contains some spiders and gold). Enter Ix and replenish your supplies before proceeding onward. The path to the northwest leads to Ix. Before you proceed, visit the shopkeepers and replenish any needed supplies. On the way to Ix, you'll find a western alcove that includes some spiders and gold. A larger path leads to the east, where a thug emerges. You can follow the thug to an intersection leading northeast and south. The northeastern path leads to a small cave with bats and some gold. A path north from the cave leads over the river and to a secret area with wolves and some meat and to another secret area across the river containing some more gold. The path south of the cave leads to a dock with three thugs. Collect all their discarded equipment and search the huts for some food and gold. The southern path leads to a series of huts occupied by both melee and ranged thugs. Prepare healing items before you enter; it's quite easy to take significant damage within just a few moments. Rummage through the huts for gold, food, and equipment. Return to the shopkeepers in the small village to sell any unwanted items or to replenish supplies.
