The first of my cities, and one of the largest in terms of population, mainly because there are some major inefficiencies that I shall be ironing out in any subsequent attempts. In particular, very inefficient use is made of the Arbor of Athena. I am also unconvinced by my choice of Aphrodite as the fourth sanctuary: Apollo is probably more useful.
On the plus side, there are some rather nice townhouse blocks, and a very pleasing Estate block draped around Ares' Fortress, together with a second estate block, to give 18 estates in total. Notice also the immense cheese industry in the North.
On the military side, I went for extreme overkill, hence the ridiculous nuber of elite houses. To complete the city from this point, it is necessary only to dispatch the boys to flatten Argos.
