The only colony in the Athens through the Ages adventure presents a unique problem: there is no natural food source. As a consequence you are forced to subsist on imported and tributed food.
The major source of income is silver mining, so i went overboard on the silver mines in this one. I stuck in a few foundries early on to acquire the bronze necessary to complete the episode, then went all-out on the silver mining. Some additional cash was earned by selling tributed marble (after all, there is nothing else to do with it in this episode!).
Since you have to import most of your food in this episode, I deliberately kept my population low; the result is a rather unattractive slave-labour camp! It's certainly an effective means to an end...
