Author's Description:
Macchu Picchu
This is a Poseidon adventure set in the mountainous land of the Inca. Your city of Cuzco (which was located just a few kilometers from the ruins discovered at Macchu Picchu) will be a great capital for the vast empire. You must rely on farming and the benefits of your Gods to efficiently extract the precious metals present in the cliffs of the mountains. Finally, you will Battle the fierce Centaur Conquistadors under the command of Pizarro the Spaniard.
Special thanks go to Boyce for the beautiful landscape which is his interpretation of descriptions we read about how Macchu Picchu was laid out across the summit of the mountian with one pass thru the middle of the city. And more thanks to Merepatra for testing the mission for me and offering suggestions on the final 'balance' of the overall adventure. Hugs.

I just finished this wonderful adventure. I can not sing enough praises about the truely beautiful map and it's very interesting layout. It leaves plenty of room for building a great capital city, but it still makes for some interesting decisions and creativity on the part of the city-builder. Navigation around the city can be interesting, especially later in the adventure.
I thought the whole story line was well done and many will learn lots of neat new stuff about the Incas. This was great historical storytelling. First rate job.
The events progress nicely and create good challenges. Strangely enough, I had a pyramid on top of a disaster area and it opened up like a blooming onion for a time. It eventually reverted back to it's good old self, but it was truely a strange sight for a little while.
I heartily recommend this for players of all skill levels.

I have just completed this adventure and felt a comment was a must.
I was extremely pleased with the efforts and plans in map design. A true artist. Also I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the adventure and all of its offerings. A great story line that was carefully researched, excellent job.
If there was any type of problem in this adventure, it would be the second episode where a quest by Hermes can not be completed. This is not a goal of the episode and thus had little bearing on the final outcome.
The map provided some great challenges for population location and feeding everyone.
All in all awesome adventure.
Well done homegrown and congrats to your beta team as well
