Scott, if you were to do that on a particular set of forums I moderate - which are not dedicated to Zeus, but that I moderate all the same - you'd be warned for spamming.
Seriously, those comments are unnecessary. Open play adventures are fun; it just depends on whether it's your style.
BTW, I saw your other comment about "another player submitted adventure in which you get through the first episode and then it fails" (quoted from the comment made in "The Grove of Eglantine, ID 173). To be frank, it's an easy fix. Copy the .pak file - with the exact same name - into the Adventures folder, outside of the folder that contains it...and note that this is a COPY, not a move or a cut and paste. I did this right away after some poking around among the downloads (where I saw a player post about the bug, and get an answer), and I took on my first custom adventure - called Cheers, by Maggie, ID 46 - and it was awesome playing one of these quests to completion. I should add that it is only my second completion; I haven't yet attacked all of the other quests in the actual game, other than the first one in the Zeus set. (Note: if you rename the quest folder, be sure to rename not only the files inside the folder according to the new name, but also rename the pak file outside the folder.)
BTW, I learned something today. You can play these quests under Poseidon, using the Poseidon side of the program, instead of the Play Zeus side as suggested by this site. It helps in attracting Hercules, who would otherwise demand vistory in a Pan-Hellenic game...impossible in Poseidon.
