Sorry about that. Level four plays well. I had a senior moment and forgot about Estates.

David:

Normally I enjoy your adventures and rush to download them when I see a new one appear. And I was likewise enjoying Horselords until the third episode. I was just recovering from Hydra's appearance when a lava eruption wiped out all my elite housing, a portion of the common housing, my docks, the museum and... well, you get the idea. You chose prime real estate for your lava flow, near the river, and the flow was huge and solid... it wasn't just fingers or rivulets of lava which can be built around.

So, it's a lot easier and funner to just go download some other adventure rather than go back and rebuild my city in Horselords. That kind of destruction isn't a challenge anymore -- it's demoralizing, especially coming on heals of a monster attack.

I think BobT, in his adventure-making essays, mentioned that floods, lava, and earthquakes (disasters which permanently change a city's landscape) should either be planned for early in the adventure, before the player has spread his city out too far; or be planned to occur in an area of the map which will be unlikely to contain the heart of the player's city. Your lava flow was planned in a nice wide area between two meadows; right along the ideal dock-placement area of the river; and right across the river from the copper deposits. Most players would logically chose to build right there so their dock, foundry and husbandry workers don't have too long a walk. So I'm guessing that I'm not the only one whose city center got wiped out in the third episode.

Best,
Maggie

Le Hoang Long, from what I understood from your language (USER and PASWORD), I presume that you ask what is your user-name and pasword. Please use English in the future!!!

Well, I hope you understand this:
When the window (with Username and password) appears, you must have a download accelerator installed on your computer. You can't download it with it. Solution: press the 'ALT' key while clicking on the thing you want to download. Then the accelerator will be disabled and the 'normal' download-program will appear. Then you will be able to download it, without having to fill in your Username and Password.

I hope this helps you,
Psyche
