Introduction

Civilization: Call to Power casts you in the role of political and military leader of a budding society. You will begin with nothing more than a small band of settlers and take them through many ages and epochs, charting your own course through history in the hopes of being the dominant force at the end of the game. You must start new cities, engage in diplomacy with many friendly and hostile races, chart a course for scientific advancement, and engage in both small skirmishes and full-scale global wars. To avoid being a footnote in history, you must master the many elements that compose the Civilization: Call to Power experience, and that is where this handy guide comes in.

Here, you'll find an abundance of information covering all aspects of Civilization: Call to Power, including setting up a game, in-depth unit tactics, waging war, managing resources, constructing city improvements, engaging in scientific research, improving terrain, erecting wonders, effective diplomacy, and engaging in multiplayer games. By the time you've digested this wealth of information, you can take your young civilization and stake your claim as a historical leader knowing no equal.
