Monk to Initiate Promotion Quest
This is the first promotion quest for the monk class. You get it from Bartholomew Hume, who lives in the small settlement south of Castle Harmondale. He tells you visit the site of power in the Barrow Downs. All monks get promoted to initiates upon completion of this quest. All others who complete this quest become honorary monks and gain experience.

What you need to know: The site of power that Hume refers to is in fact inside Zokarr's tomb in the Barrow dungeons. To get there, you must have unlocked the Barrow dungeons by finding and using the three keys in Barrows VII, IX, and X. After you do that, you'll have free reign of the Barrow dungeons. Enter Barrow IX in the Barrow Downs. Then go to Barrow V. From here, go to Barrow I. At Barrow I, you will find that the navigation panel has four locations. Three are numbered barrows. The fourth is the symbol of an ankh. This denotes Zokarr's tomb. Move the lever so it is level with the ankh and step through. You'll enter Zokarr's tomb. Once inside, you must battle ghosts and shades. Once you defeat the monsters in the first room, take the stairs down into a room. You'll find a pool in the middle of this room. Click on it, and Hume will suddenly appear in your minds, telling you that you have found the site of power. He promotes all monks in the party immediately and awards nonmonks an honorary title and some experience.

Warrior Mage to Master Archer Promotion Quest
This quest is the second promotion quest for the ranger. It promotes the warrior mage to a master archer. You get it by talking to Laurence Mark in Mark Manor after you have chosen the path of light and only if you are already a warrior mage. Mark asks you to journey to the titan's stronghold in Avlee and find the Perfect Bow, an artifact locked inside. Bring it to him, and he will promote you to master archer. This quest is only available to good parties.
