Town Guide (cont.)

Ask the Dwarves to Repair Castle Harmondale
You only get this quest after you complete the "clear out the goblins" quest. After you do that and visit your butler in the On the House Inn, he tells you to speak to King Hothfarr in the Barrow Downs and ask him to fix the castle.

What you need to know: Of course, the quest is not that simple. King Hothfarr won't just fix your castle because you ask him. First, you must find Stone City, which is the dwarven city inside the Barrows. You won't get to it by going through the Barrow Dungeons. The city is in fact above ground, at the top of the highest mountain in the Barrow Downs. To get there, you must travel west across a bridge (you'll arrive at the northeast part of the map). Go west from the inn, cross the first bridge, and then go south. You'll walk up a mountain and see a bridge connecting to a larger mountain south of you. Go across this bridge, and you'll find yourself just outside Stone City. Go inside to speak to King Hothfarr. Once inside, you'll find that he has nothing but disdain for you. In fact, he'll only help you if you help him. If you can complete the "Red Dwarf mines" quest for him, he will repair your castle. Refer to the Barrow Downs/Stone City section for more information on this quest. When you complete the quest, you should return to King Hothfarr, who tells you that he has fixed your castle. When you return to Castle Harmondale, you will find that the rocks have been removed, and you can now enter the main throne room. Inside are your butler and ambassadors from the humans and the elves. The prison below the castle has also been revealed.
