Town Guide (cont.) Find the Lantern of Light What you need to know: The lantern is in the Barrows, specifically Barrow II. To get there, you must first journey south to Barrow Downs. Go past the inn immediately in front of you, continuing up the small mountain just south of the inn. You'll find an entrance to Barrow IX at the top of this mountain. Go inside and navigate your way to Barrow II, where the lantern is kept. The various barrows dungeons are guarded by rats, zombies, shades, wights, and bats. To get through the barrows, you must find the key, which is locked behind a hidden wall. To get to the corridor with the hidden wall, just click on the bookcase inside the first room you enter in Barrow IX. Once you get the key, you can go to Barrow VII. Find another key here and proceed to Barrow X. There you'll find the third and final key. Once you acquire these three keys and put them in the locks in each corresponding barrow (the locks are at the very first room, next to each panel), you'll have unlimited access to each Barrow dungeon. Once you finish unlocking the barrows, go back from Barrow X to Barrow VII to Barrow IX. From Barrow IX, you can go to Barrow V and from there to Barrow II. The lantern is in here, hidden in a small compartment north of the main barrow dungeon. You must go into the second room from the left, open a secret door in the north wall, and go into a small sewer. Head right from here, and you'll find a room on the right with a chest containing the lantern. Bring it back to Withern in the cathedral for a reward.
