Watchtower 6 (Deyja): This watchtower is your destination if you
are trying to complete the thief to spy promotion quest, which you receive
from Bill Lasker in the Erathian Sewers. He asks you to go to Watchtower
6 and move the counterweight there. Inside the watchtower are liches,
earth elementals, shades, and necromancers. The tower is to the left of
the road from Erathia. It lies in the southeast of the map. Once you enter
the tower, you'll find an elevator directly ahead of you. The counterweight
switch is directly above the entrance, so you must take the elevator up.
Once you do that, you'll find yourself on a platform suspended in midair.
Four other platforms lie at the north, west, south, and east. It's a good
idea to cast an earth protection spell and a shield spell on yourself
while you are here. Invisibility would help also. The monsters in the
tower can shoot missiles at you or fly to attack you, in the case of the
shades.
A button on your platform will
cause a bridge to appear at one of these directions. Because the bridge
you summon is random, keep clicking until you get a bridge that leads
south. Run across into the room with the counterweight. Once you move
the counterweight, get out of there and return to Lasker to get promoted.
Hall of the Pit (Deyja):
The Hall of the Pit is the entrance to the Pit of Deyja, which is
where the true necromancer's hideout is. The entrance to the Hall is in
the northeast of Deyja. Once you enter, you'll find a hallway with gargoyles,
harpies, and zombies. There is also a little treasure in here. If you
serve the path of light, or if you come in before you make a choice for
either good or evil, the creatures here will attack you. However, if you
follow the path of dark, the creatures here will leave you alone. At the
end of this hallway is an elevator. When you take the elevator down, you'll
into a room with a bridge. Across the bridge is a teleporter. When you
jump into the teleporter, you'll be transported to the Pit.
