Town Guide (cont.)

As your first stop on your adventure in Might and Magic VII, there is a lot you should do in Emerald Isle. There are essential skills to learn as well as treasure to find. There are two quests on this island and a few notable areas as well as a vital luck fountain.

TIP: There are two very important things to do before you leave this isle for Harmondale. The first is to make all your party members learn the bow skill at the weapons shop. You'll need it later and can't learn it in Harmondale. The second is to drink from the luck fountain. It confers +2 luck to all party members that drink from it. Each character can raise their luck up to a maximum of 15 with this fountain. The fountain is on the hill where you find the magic guilds.

Areas and People of Note
Temple of the Moon: The temple is the main dungeon in the town of Emerald Isle. It is essential for the scavenger hunt quest because the floor tile can be found in the library here as well as a fancy hat. The temple is small and infested with giant rats, giant and inferno bats, giant spiders, and widowmakers. There is a secret door in one of the temple's chambers that reveals a secret library. Inside, you'll also find a few adventurers. One of them has a long bow on him, but you must kill him to get it. They won't bother you unless you attack them first.
