Skills Guide (cont.)

Earth Magic

Earth magic is an elemental school of magic. Like the air school, earth magic has a good mix of attack and defensive spells. It doesn't provide any movement spells, though. The sorcerer can become a grandmaster, while the druid and archer can become masters.

Where you upgrade to grandmaster level: Avalanche's, Deyja

Fire Magic

The fire magic skill lets you cast a good array of attack spells. This spell school is the one with the most offensive spells. Sorcerers can become grandmasters in this skill, while druids and archers can become masters.

Identify Item

A character needs this skill before he can identify items. Every item in the game has an identify rating. If your skill level is higher than the item's identify rating, you can successfully identify it. This is a good skill to have because otherwise you'll be spending a lot of money on identifying items. The sorcerer can become a grandmaster in this skill, while the thief can become a master. Only one character in your party needs this skill.
