Character Creation
(cont.)
Sorcerer
The sorcerer is the ultimate elemental magic master. This class can become
a grandmaster in air, earth, fire, water, dark, and light magic. For attack
power, this class is unparalleled. The elemental schools of magic provide
some of the game's most powerful area attack spells as well as most utilitarian
spells like fly, town portal, and Lloyd's Beacon. However, to make up
for this awesome magical strength, the sorcerer is the absolute weakest
of all classes, with low hit points and poor physical attacks. However,
if you position the sorcerer in the back of the party and can bring it
to higher levels, the sorcerer will reward you with some awesome fire
support.
The sorcerer not only gives
you the magic power, but it also provides grandmaster-level skill in identify
item and identify monster. A sorcerer is a must for your party if you
want to have powerful magic attacks. You need high intellect to be a good
sorcerer and perhaps high endurance as well to squeeze the most hit points
out of this character. This class doesn't need any might or personality.
Elves and humans make good sorcerers.
