Wednesday, June 2nd - 50 BC There is an excellent couple of threads going on in the forum about additional tactics of how to defend your city using locked forts and multiple barracks. Hopefully by tomorrow we'll have the coverage of that. But meantime, check out this picture. Seems that the "ramming bull" has been proficiently used by the Romans as a siege weapon, doesn't it...???

Friday, May 21sth - 50 BC When was the last time this page has been updated twice in 24 hours...? Sincerely, I can't remember it. Well, here we have to bring you the latest about war strategies in the upcoming Pharaoh, although this was not planned to be here... So. First of all here are the next enemies you'll be fighting in Egypt: the Numidians (I kinda remember those jumpy guys); the "mysterious people of the seas; the Accadians, and last but not least the crocodiles and hippos...!!! And I am pretty sure, soon we'll have whole associations trying to defend those cute ostriches, which were so delicious to Egyptians... lol... Wanna know more...??? Here over here, and read the whole text of what is being broiled at the Impressions bunker...!!! Would you

Thursday, May 20th - 50 BC While we are entering in the last week of the Olympic Games, preparations for the next steps on this page are starting already: as Angel Jayhawk and other forumers have been developing some very interesting threads in the forum, about how the Romans made it to be so successful in the fields, we are going to bring the graphics over here. And let's the readers be the judges, if the formations, the exercise and discipline were the key of such success or whether it was just because there was no stronger force at the time... Meantime, I would like to recommend all the ones who live in the US, to see the "Roman War Machine" on the History Channel, at 9:00 PM eastern time throughout the whole week. The serial gives some really interesting details of the life behind the scenes of an average Roman soldier (or a foreigner auxiliary)... Would you

Wednesday, May 12th - 50 BC Was about time I came back to this page...! And check out the graphic Brad Bailey sent to us. The picture is to be found in the Funny Screenshots Page, but here goes an extract of his letter... Quote: "In honor of Caesar Mark Qian, I am attaching a screen shot unedited and edited from his LionKing2 scenario. What a magnificent city it is to showcase this interesting defensive tactic." (Brad Bailey) Who said
lions were not sociable animals...??? |
