As today is again one of those days we made something on quite a few of the pages, this one couldn't stay untouched: and today we want to give you guys (and gals) a little hint of how we came to know each other (phew! - already quite a few years ago!!!)... lol...

Well... It was on this 1400-passengers-ship, while cruising the waters between New York and the beautiful and riverless island of Bermuda.
Yes, folks: like in the movies; we've met on a cruise ship...!!! But we were not passengers on board, we were rather the ones who were there to take care of them: Angie was a wine-stewardess and I was a simple headwaiter in the restaurant of the M/S Zenith...!!!
Soon, we'll tell you how we survived hurricane Edward in September 1996, our last year on the high seas...

Monday, May 3rd - 50 BC

Today we received a nice letter from a forumer (we won't say from whom yet), as you will see it by tomorrow or after tomorrow on the History of Rome Page. But the main essence of the letter (which is rather technical) was that people recognize our little effort and appreciate our work on this pages.
And we think that there is only one thing that somehow keeps this going, and pushes us to do and bring more and more ideas; while typing, inventing, (suddenly stopping over the keyboard,  like expecting a flash of inspiration for the next sentence), and laughing and enjoying all this: You!!! Yes, all of you who read the stuff we put and look at the graphics, and send mail, and sign the Guestbook, and comment on our failures, mistakes and hits...!!! So here we want to go with full names to all of you:

We are Angela Kassem and Abel Knezevic, two European immigrants who made it pretty good "at home" in Miami Beach, Florida - but not without hardship, frustrations and of course, blessings from GOD...!!!
