To access Bodhi's Tomb, you will need to cross through the Graveyard District of Athkatla. If you do this at night time, you will face Bodhi as soon as you enter the Graveyard. She will hold a small dialogue with you, and then she will send 4 Vampires to attack you. Bodhi will retreat to her Tomb. You can enter the Crypt that was locked the last time that you were in the Graveyard.

1. Entrance: Check the locked chest and the table. You will find a couple of spell scrolls and a few Wooden Stakes.

2. Valen and Del: Around the first corner, you will bump into Valen, Del, and 2 Fledgling Vampires. Kill them...

3. Coffin Room: Just before location #2, you will find a secret door that leads to the Coffin Room. Go in and drive a stake into the Heart of Valen [A] and Del [B] (They entered the Coffin Room in Mist Form).

4. Blood Pool: When you enter the Blood Pool Room, you will fight Salia, Meredath, and two more Fledgling Vampires. If you enlisted the aid of Drizzt, he will be in this room. Once this room is clean of Vampires, walk over to the Blood Pool and dump a Vial of Elven Holy Water into it. This will effect the strength of the Vampires. Before continuing on, return to the Coffin Room (location #3) and drive a stake through the heart of Salia [C].

5. Main Room: In the main room, you will find Hareish and 6 more Vampires. Kill them all.

6. Spike Room: Just before you enter the Spike Room, you will run into 6 Vampires and the Guard. The Guard is a Vampire like the others, except that he is a mage version. Kill these Vampires, and then enter the Spike Room. You will find 7 Vampiric Mists inside the Spike Rooms. Once they are all dead, check the Blood Pool in the center of the room. You will find the "Gauntlets of Weapon Expertise". Return now back to the Coffin Room (#3) and make sure that you do not have any Vampires remaining that need to be staked.

7. Bodhi's Lair: Once the upper area is clear, go down the staircase into Bodhi's Lair. Watch out for the two traps along the way. When you enter Bodhi's Room, you will hold a small dialogue with her. She will give you a few questions to ask of Elhan, and then she attacks. The first thing that you should do is have one of your party members run up to the Blood Pool in the center of the room and drop a Vial of Elven Holy Water into it. This will cancel Bodhi's regeneration, as she can no longer draw off of the Blood Pool. Kill Bodhi, and then head for her Coffin at location #8.

8. Bodhi's Coffin: Drive a stake into the heart of Bodhi (she entered her coffin in Mist Form). This will kill her for the final time. When Bodhi dies you will free Imoens Soul. You will gain 55,000 exp for each character by doing this. The Lanthorn and Bodhi's Black Heart will show up in your inventory (you do not need to loot them from anywhere, but play it safe and check anyway). Just below Bodhi's Coffin, you will find the "Cutthroar +4".

Cross over to the room across from Bodhi's Coffin and check the chest. You will find 3 books.

The Vampiricus Omnibus: Unabridged - This book tells you about the Oghma Monk at the Docks District Temple.

Conjur Ota Servanta - This book mentions experiments performed by Tomass Sangui.

Dea Vampir Becomos - This book is too blood to read.

With Bodhi dead, Imoens Soul recovered, and the Lanthorn in hand, return to Elhan back at the Elven Stockade (marked as Exit from the Underdark on the World Map).

Kidnapping and rescue of Aerie (Submited by Hodgekins)

It is not certain if this happens just to Aerie or to any of “the romance” possibilities in the game. In any case, Aerie will be used as the example. I choose the Aerie romance, so I will break down this side-quest specifically geared towards her.

First, it would seem that the kidnapping doesn’t occur if your “romance level” is too low. Another thing that may cause the “Kidnapping" to NOT occur is if you spend the night with Phaere in Chapter 5.

On your way back to Bodhi’s lair, you will be ambushed by non-other then Bodhi herself, and four of her “Fledglings”. At that time she will kidnap Aerie and leave her Fledglings to finish you off – yea right.

This part is the same for everyone regardless of the kidnapping or not – you re-enter Bodhi’s lair and wreak havoc till you reach the evil kindred herself. She will be accompanied with some more Fledglings and

Aerie !!!

Unfortunately she isn’t quite herself; Bodhi has begun transforming her into one of her Vampiric Minions. So with a heavy heart you dispose of Aerie. Before leaving the lair make sure you have Bodhi’s Black Heart, Aerie’s body and the three books located in the trapped & locked chest in the left hand room.

From there you head back to Elhan’s Encampment and talk to the war sage, who recommends checking out the vast knowledge at the temple of Oghma in Athkatla.

Making your merry way back to the Docks District, and enter the temple and discuss the situation with the Priest (make sure you read those three books you found in Bodhi’s lair beforehand). He will reveal that he sold the book your looking for to a book merchant located in Umar Hills.

Back in the Umar Hills, head into the inn and look for the merchant in the top left corner. He’ll go on and on and on (I’m not kidding – so make sure you make him continue his ranting) and eventually will spill the beans. He will reveal that in order to reverse the process of Vampirism, one must bring the body of the “partial” Vampire and the Masters’ Heart to the Statue of Amaunator in a place where shadows roam (gee does that sound familiar?).

You guessed it, back to the Shade Lord’s Dungeon...

Make your way past the lettered tiles and place Aerie’s body and Bodhi’s Black Heart in the arms of the Statue of Amaunator. And voila, Aerie returns amongst the living.

Possible Game Bug/Glitch:

A few people have hit a rather odd game glitch in this section. The Glitch would prevent them from entering the door to Bodhi, even after they had cleared and explored the entire upper level. I had one of the afflicted send me a copy of their saved game so that I could attempt to solve their problem. Here is a run down on it all, and a "fix" if you have also been afflicted.

I found Drizzt in the Graveyard District, in the Small Tomb to the North (if you are standing at the entrance to Bodhi's Tomb, head NE along the road until you dead-end into a Tomb. Enter that Tomb and Drizzt is inside. You can speak with him, and then have Drizzt follow you back to Bodhi's Tomb. The problem is that he will not open the door to Bodhi. Instead, he just follows you around, waiting to kill some Vampires. Only after Drizzt has killed a few Vampires will he open the door to Bodhi. If you have already killed all of the Vampires, Drizzt will not be able to open the door for you.

In-order to continue your game, you will need to use the "move to area" cheat. I have tried it on the saved game that I received, and it does work, and it will allow you to continue the game. To use the Cheat, follow the steps listed below [Note: Use game cheats at your own risk. You will need to edit a file on your Hard Drive. Do this at your own risk. Walkthrough-Online.com can not nor will not be held liable for any damage that you may do]:

1. You will need to edit your Baldur.ini file. Locate this file inside your Baldur's Gate directory. It may be something like = (C:\baldursgate2\Baldur.ini).

2. Open this file by double clicking it, or by opening a text editor. Notepad is a good choice to use, and it comes with windows, so you should have it.

3. Next, you need to locate a line inside this file that says [Program Options]. Start a new line beneath this line and then type in the text "Debug Mode=1" (without quotes). Save the file and then close down the text editor.

4. Once the above steps are complete, you will be able to open the Baldur's Gate console from inside the game. Load your saved game as you would normally do, and then press [CTRL] + [SPACE] (press them at the same time). This will bring up a small text line at the bottom of your screen.

5. Inside the text area, type the following: CLUAConsole:MoveToArea("AR0809") . Notice that there are no spaces in the cheat code, and notice the Capitalization. You will need to type it exactly (Type everything that is in blue text).

6.  Once your cheat code has been entered, you will need to hit the [ENTER] key to make it work.

This cheat will take you inside Bodhi's Tomb, behind the door that you can not pass. From this point, you can continue the game as normal. One thing that you may want to do however, is go and grab Drizzt. Take him down there with you.
