the bed... You will find the "Horn of Valhalla".
2.
Five Flagon's Inn
3.
Tanners Shop
4.
Saerk Farrahd's Estate
5.
Delosar's Inn
6.
Two locked and trapped doors. One door will lead you down to an Elemental
Lich, and the other door will take you to another realm where members of the
Twisted
Rune reside.
The lich is part
of the Kangaxx quest. Once you defeat him, you will gain the "Golden
Torso".
In order to enter
the Twisted Rune door, you will need a Rogue Stone. The Twisted Rune
Members are all of very high level, and once you enter the area, the
only way out is to fight your way out. The Beholder will drop the
"Beholder Eye", which you need to drop into the cauldron in
the back of the room. Once you do that, you can then operate the machinery.
This will open a portal, allowing you an exit. Be warned... This fight
is as difficult as they come. If you want to enter the room, save your
game before!
7.
Kidnappers Hideout.
Quests
A.
As soon as you enter the Bridge District, you will meet Lieutenant
Aegisfield. If you question him, he will tell you about the murders that
have been happening in the area. He will also tell you that you should
speak with Faraji, Rampah, and Rose for more information. This begins
the quest:
B.
In the Town Center, you will find Rampah. Question him a bit
and he will offer to sell you what he found for 100 gold. Buy it, and
you will gain the "Exotic Hide".
C.
Just south of Rampah you will find Rose. Question her about the murders
and she will tell you about the distinct smell that she noticed. She
will send you to speak with Del.
D.
Del will tell you what sort of animal that the Exotic Hide comes from,
and he will help you with the scent that Rose noticed. He will give you
a few items for you to take back to Rose. Once Rose takes a whiff of
each item, she will be able to pin-point the source of the smell. Which
happens to be an item used in Tanning.
E.
With the evidence that you have gathered so far, head over to Rejiek
Hidesmans Tanners Shop (which is located at #3
on the map). Enter inside
and point the blame towards Rejiek. You will need to tell him the proof
that you have found for him to admit to being the murderer. At that
point, Rejiek will flee downward through a couple of rooms and escape in
a boat. You need to give chase, but you do not need to be in a big
hurry. There is no way to catch him. Along the way there are many traps
for you to watch out for. Disarm them as you go. Also, on the Third
floor (assuming that you confronted Rejiek on the First floor), you will
find a note in one of the drawers. This note is essential in continuing
this quest. Be sure to locate it!.. Continue downward until you meet
Rejieks master "Vellin Dahn". If you found the note on the 3rd
floor, then you may understand a little more as to who this guy is.
Anyway, Vellin will chat with you for a minute, and then he will escape.
He does, however, leave you a few guys to fight off. Once the fight is
over, check the box in the center of the area. Be warned... The box is
trapped, but inside you will find the "Gasen Bow Shaft". You
will now want to return to Lieutenant Aegisfield at quest location A.
You will be rewarded for the quest and your reputation will increase by
1 point.
On the note
that you found on the 3rd floor of the Tanners shop, you should discover
that Rejiek is headed for Umar Hills. The note tells you to ask for a
book, which gives it away that you need to speak with the book-merchant
in Umar
Hills...
F.
At location F you will find the Am-Si. This is the guy who buried Tirdir
in the graveyard. If you dug Tirdir out of the grave in the Graveyard
District, you would have received the quest to investigate the
kidnappings.
Question Am-Si,
and he will run inside the near-by house. In this house you will find
Carbos and Shank. They are the bosses of the "kidnapping
operation". They will kill Am-Si and then they try to escape.
Follow them... Just before the end of the Bridge District, They will
make a stand. They should not be of any challenge at all. Reti will drop
the "Boots of Avoidance". Once you have dealt with
these 2, head back to their hide-out. You will find that "Lady
Elgea" was being held captive and she was to be the next victim.
If you want to do the "good" thing, then you should set her
free. If you want to do the "evil" thing, you can become her
kidnapper, and claim the ransom. If you check the drawer nearby, you
will find a "Ransom Note". This note tells you that the
pick-up for the ransom cash is to be made in front of the Copper Coronet
after dark... If you did not free Lady Elgea, then you will want to head
for the Copper Coronet to complete the quest.
G.
Five Flagon's Inn - Several portions of outside quests will take
part in this Inn. To begin with:
Uncle
Quayle's Friend needs help: Sometime during Chapter 2 (normally when
you return from the world map) a Message Currier will inform you that
Uncle Quayle needs to speak with you. You should first go and speak with
him in the Circus Tent. After you get the details, you will need to
enter the Five Flagon's Inn and speak with the actors in the play (in
the lower level). You will gain the quest to free the kidnapped actor
and his stone. To follow this quest, you will need to head for the
Temple District. (more information here)
Aran
Linuait: In Chapter 3, in the Docks
District, Aran Linuait will send you to the top floor
of the Five Flagon's Inn to find information. He has two members who are
going to defect. (more information here)
Follow ups:
Wow... A lot of stuff going on in this area. There is more then what is
listed, but nothing that needed to be mentioned. You may also return
here while doing quests later in the game. Explore the area
completely...
