Definition and Usage

The <q> tag defines the start of a short quotation.

Tips and Notes

Note: The q element does not render as anything special, you have to use styles to format the text.

Optional Attributes

DTD indicates in which XHTML 1.0 DTD the attribute is allowed. S=Strict, T=Transitional, and F=Frameset.
