Town Guide (cont.)

If you take the right teleporter, you'll teleport to a smaller dungeon. Ahead of you will be three elevators. They have treasure chests on them, incidentally. Rather than trying to time it correctly and jump on one of them, just cast feather fall on yourself and jump down. Run into the southeast corner, and you'll see Steel's room at the top of a ramp. Open it and rescue Steel. Then, backtrack to get out of the dungeon.

Now, if you want to break into Castle Navan, you'll go a completely opposite way. The entrance from the caves into the castle is on the south side of the caves, so once you enter the caves from the forest, head south through some caverns. Beware of a trap once you cross the large round room, but once you get past that, you'll find the doorway into the castle.

Remember that troglodytes, elven archers and warriors, and wyverns guard the caves, but they are often fighting with each other.

The trumpet decides who wins the war. Give it to the arbiter and the war will be a draw.

Gryphonheart Trumpet: This artifact is being fought over by man and elf. A month or so after the war starts, a messenger from Erathia tells you that Erathian forces are in the Tularean Forest, fighting to recover the trumpet. You can then go to the location of the fight, in front of the Tularean Caves, to recover the trumpet. Then, you can give it to Queen Catherine, King Parson, or Judge Grey. Giving it to the humans or elves decides the war in their favor. Giving it to Judge Grey results in a truce and autonomy for Harmondale. The trumpet is in a chest in front of the Tularean Caves. If you arrive here after you receive the message, you'll see soldiers and elven warriors fighting over it.
