Town Guide (cont.)

Tularean Forest

The Tularean Forest is the heart of the elven kingdom, and it is also the home of the sentient trees of Erathia. The trees here are hostile because the Heart of the Forest has been taken from them by the mercenaries of Tatalia. They'll attack you by spitting fire at you. Only one tree has the power to stop the violence: the oldest tree. When you return the Heart of the Forest to him, he will calm the other trees.

However, even before you can do that, though, you'll be coming to the Tularean Forest, especially the capital city of Pierpont, for a number of reasons. There are quests to fulfill and acquire here. There is also the little matter of the human-elven war, which takes center stage in the Tularean Forest. When you come to the Tularean Forest, there will be a lot to do. There are many quests to pick up and many skills experts and masters to learn from.

Areas and People of Note
Castle Navan: This is the seat of elven power in the continent of Erathia. You'll come here soon enough, as the elves appoint an ambassador to Castle Harmondale once the dwarves fix it. The ambassador implores you to visit the King Parson in Castle Navan. You come here several times. The first time is when you are asked by the king. He wants you to join him in the dispute over Harmondale, asking you to steal the plans for Fort Riverstride from the humans. You'll also come here if you decide to give the Gryphonheart trumpet to the elves, signifying your allegiance to them. Later on, you can also visit King Parson if you choose to betray Queen Catherine once you accept her quests.

In the later part of the game, once you choose the side of darkness, you can return to Castle Navan with a more sinister goal in mind: Stealing its treasures. To become a black knight, Fredrick Org asks you to steal the elven treasure from the castle. Inside the castle are dragonflies, elven archers, and elven warriors.
