Town Guide (cont.)
Areas and
People of Note
Thunderfist Mountain: The Thunderfist Mountain labyrinths connect
Nighon to Stone City and the Land of the Giants. There are four entrances
to the Labyrinth from different areas of the map. All are arranged in
a rectangle around the middle of the map. One entrance is in the northeast,
one is in the southeast, another is in the southwest, and the other is
in the northwest. Within the labyrinths, the exit closest to the connection
to the Nighon tunnels leads to the northeast exit/entrance on Nighon.
To get to the Tunnels of Eofol, enter the mountain labyrinths through
the northwest entrance and follow the labyrinth a short distance northwest.
The entrance closest to the warlocks headquarters is where the soul jars
are kept for the Maximus quest in the Pit, so take the entrance in the
southwest. The monsters inside this area are minotaurs, warlocks, and
beholders.
Tunnels of Eofol: The
Tunnels to Eofol are connected to the labyrinths of the Thunderfist Mountains.
After entering the labyrinths and then moving into the Tunnels of Eofol,
you will find yourself contending with medusas and behemoths. Other than
as a means of travel between Nighon and the Land of the Giants, there
is nothing noteworthy about this area.
The Maze: The Maze is
a tough place to navigate. It is the destination for the "find Haldar's
remains" quest you receive from Mazim Dusk in Nighon. It is also
the location of a angel statue, which you need for the statue shrines
quest your receive from Thom Lumbra in the Tularean Forest. The creatures
inside the maze are very strong. There are warlocks, hydras, and minotaurs
inside.
