Town Guide (cont.) Goblin Fort: The goblin fort lies in the middle of the map. There really isn't anything significant here. You can actually just avoid the goblins here. You'll find them fighting with a few guards. There are a large number of goblins, hobgoblins, and goblin lords hanging around here, but the fort is where you want to go if you intend to engage this rabble. At each of the four corners there is a mechanism that fires off deadly spell effects such as death blossom. If you get too close to the fort, the goblins inside will start firing at you. It's a safe bet that at low levels, you'll have no chance against one or two direct hits of these cannons. However, if you rush in quickly, not stopping to fight the goblins surrounding the fort, you can rush in, kill the four goblins inside (there is only one goblin per gun inside), and turn the cannons on the goblins outside the fort. Inside is a chest with treasure. Alternatively, you could simply wait until you are strong enough to just wade through the goblinoid masses and slay them one by one. White Cliff Caves: The caves are in the southeast of the map. This location is the main site for the "find Elron Temper quest." His brother, Darron Temper, talks to you in the On the House Inn and asks you to locate his brother, who has gone missing. Apparently, he went into the caves to contemplate strategies for the card game, arcomage, which has taken Erathia by storm. When you receive the quest from Darron, he informs you that Elron went missing in the caves.
