Town Guide (cont.) Knight to Cavalier Promotion
Quest What you need to know: The haunted mansion is in the Barrow Downs. It lies in the northwestern part of the map and is infested with skeletons, shades, ghosts, and wights. You'll need lots of remove fear potions before you tackle this place. There are two stories the house. The bottom story has lots of treasure in it as well as a painting you need for Visconti of Tatalia's "three paintings" quest. However, to eliminating the undead, make sure you spot the lever for the secret wall on the second floor. The lever is on the top half of the bookshelf on the left wall. It will open a secret door in the back of the library. Before you return to Fredrick Org in Erathia, you must eliminate all the undead, so make sure you clear out the undead behind the secret door. Quest What you need to know: Wormthrax lives in Tatalia. Wormthrax's lair is in the north of the map, west of the mercenary guild. It is guarded by more than a dozen trolls, so you better be strong enough to take on those trolls before you take on the blue dragon. Wormthrax's lair is one giant room. There's nothing fancy about it. Inside is the blue dragon, Wormthrax. Wormthrax attacks by spitting out a water-based attack that will take you apart quickly unless you cast protection from water spell on yourself. Hit Wormthrax with fireballs, lightning bolts, and arrows to take him down. Unless a character is strong with the bow or adept in elemental magic, equip him with a wand of fireballs. Water-based attacks like icebolt and poison won't work on Wormthrax. Neither will body magic spells. Once you kill Wormthrax (which could take some time), Quixote will praise you and promote all paladins to crusaders.
