Town Guide (cont.) Queen Catherine's throne room lies directly ahead of the main entrance. To get to Alice, you must fight soldiers and initiates of the sword. Archibald's portrait is in a tower in the wing to the left of the entrance. Roland's portrait is in a bedroom in the wing to the right of the entrance. You must battle archers, soldiers, and initiates of the sword to get the paintings. Fort Riverstride: Fort Riverstride is the destination for King Parson's "steal the plans to Fort Riverstride" quest you receive in the Tularean Forest. You need not come here for any other reason. There are two ways to get inside the fort: through the heavily-guarded main entrance or the back door under the fort that is accessible via fly or jump spells.
Bandit Caves: The Bandit Caves are the destination of the "find the signet ring" quest you receive in Harmondale. You must speak to Davrik in Harmondale first before the ring will appear. The bandit cave lies hidden between the mountains in northeast Erathia. If you traveled to Erathia by foot, continue walking west when you arrive; then, take the right branch and continue north up the mountains. If you rode a horse to Erathia via the stables, take the road eastward past Fort Riverstride until you find the fork. Turn left and go up the north road. When you start seeing bandits, you'll know you are close. Before the north road plateaus, turn right. Continue down into a valley in the mountains, and you'll find a cave entrance. This is the bandit cave. It's pretty small. Inside, you'll find bandits, robbers, raiders, thieves, and master thieves. Davrik's ring is in a chest in the largest room inside the cave. Erathian Sewers: The Erathian sewers are home to the master thief Bill Lasker. If you don't have a thief in your party, you need never come here. However, if you do have a thief, come here, so Bill Lasker can teach you expert stealing, grandmaster dagger, and give you your two thief promotion quests. There are two entrances into the Erathian sewers. One is in the northwest of the town, on the north shores of Erathia. The other is on the south road to the Bracada Desert, below the road where it intersects with the river.
