Town Guide (cont.) Kill Robert the Wise (The
Pit) What you need to know: Robert the Wise lives in Celeste. To get there, go to Bracada and jump on the teleport pad. It would help to cast invisibility beforehand, so you avoid detection by the angelic guards of Celeste. Robert the Wise's home lies in the east of Celeste. Go north from the entrance to Celeste and then head right at the four-way intersection. Go inside the house of Robert the Wise and confront him. He turns out to be a blaster guy, one of the more powerful and unimaginatively named enemies in the game. Be careful against him. The blaster that he wields has a blazingly fast attack rate, so although it doesn't do a huge amount of damage per hit, when combined with the rate of fire, it can tear your party apart. Beef up your party with spells, especially protection from magic. In addition, be aware that Robert the Wise can cast master cure and hour of power on himself. Once you kill Robert the Wise, search his body for a control cube and a blaster. Both will serve you well later. Cast feather fall on yourself, fall through the tracks in the floor of Celeste, and plummet down to Bracada. Then, return to Tolberti.
