Town Guide (cont.) The faerie king resides in the Hall Under the Hill, which is a small cave located in the northwest of Avlee, just west of the elven town. Enter the hall, and you'll find yourself in a small room with a mound of dirt. To open a door into the mound and see the faerie king, you must walk around the mound several times to reveal a doorway. Quest What you need to know: It's off to Bracada, where the Red Dwarf Mines are located. If you haven't already cleared out the mines for King Hothfarr's "save the dwarves" quest, there will be oozes and medusas waiting for you in this dungeon. The mines consist of two levels. The upper level is full of oozes, seven dwarf statues, and numerous cure paralysis potions. You'll need these potions when you delve into the second level. You must take the tunnel all the way down to the north end of the mines and take the elevator there down. On this second level, watch out for medusas. Remember that only elemental magic affects oozes and only physical attacks affect medusas.
