Town Guide (cont.) Notes: The scavenger items are spread out in different areas of the island. Don't horde the items and then bring them to Markham's assistant. Bring them in one at a time, so you gain enough experience to tackle harder areas, like the Temple of the Moon. The other two dangerous areas you must traverse are the dragon cave and the dragonfly nest. You don't need to worry too much about the dragon cave, but you must be tough to weather the gauntlet of dragon flies. Missing Contestants What you need to know: To complete the quest, you must recover a large shield that is in the dragon cave. The missing contestants apparently ventured into the cave and were killed. They left a shield behind, which you can take back to Lord Markham as proof of what happened. He will reward you with experience and gold. You don't need to dally in the dragon cave. Just rush in and get the shield (it will be just inside the entrance), and run back out.
