Plot Overview (cont.) In either case, Resurectra and Kastore tell you the same thing. First, you must confront the leader of the devils, who are thwarting both the good and evil forces. Xenofex is the leader of the devils, and he makes his home in the Hive, nestled in the Land of Giants. You must take the tunnels between Stone City and Nighon to get there, and you must with dragons and titans when you come out on the other side. If you don't eliminate Xenofex, he could interfere in your next mission - to recover a shipwreck from the bottom of the sea. However, before you kill Xenofex, you'll get a message telling you to rescue King Roland from Xenofex's clutches. Once you save Roland, he'll give you a key to Xenofex's room. With Xenofex out of the way, Resurectra or Kastore tell you to bring back an artifact from the shipwreck in the bottom of the sea. The catch, though, is that this ship is actually a spaceship from extraterrestrial travelers. (Don't act surprised; every Might and Magic has a sci-fi twist). Ages ago, the beings aboard the ship crash-landed on Erathia, but were of two minds on how next to proceed. Some wanted to stay put and rule Erathia, while others wanted to build a gate between Erathia and the stars. The conquerors founded the Pit, while the ones who wanted to build a cosmic travel gate founded Celeste. Each side booby-trapped the spaceship in case the other side wanted to return to harvest its lost secrets. As the champion for either side, your mission is to find the ship and bring its treasures back to your leader. Once you do that, you will have won the game. If you served good, a new era of peace begins, and contact with the heavens is achieved. If you served evil, your deeds let the denizens of the Pit unleash an unstoppable army on the world.
