Instructions for Downloading Scenarios

Download the map zip file by clicking on the map name, unzipping it using a program such as WinZip and placing the .map file in your Caesar3 folder.  Once in the game, select City Construction Kit, and pick the city you wish to play.  However, you cannot play custom built scenarios unless you download and install either the scenario editor or the patch file.

If you don't have the Scenario Editor, you can download it here.

If you have not downloaded the editor but still wish to play custom built maps, you must download the patch file, unzip and place in your Caesar3 folder.   This adds the program components needed to play these maps.  You do not need this file if you have installed the editor.

Instructions for Downloading Cities

Download the save game files by clicking on the city name, unzipping it using a program such as Winzip and placing the .sav file in your Caesar3 folder.   Once in the game, select Load City, and pick the city you wish to play.   That's all there is to it!
