2002: The Year of the Hedgehog

In 2002 the Usenet newsgroup alt.fan.pratchett will be 10 years old. In order to celebrate this event, special afpmeets are going to be held all through the year, all over the world.

This web page will be the central port of call for everybody interested in organising, attending, or finding info about one or more of these afparty meets. We expect there will be quite a few preliminary afpmeets in 2001 as well...

We are currently still in the early stages of coordinating and initiating the afp 10th anniversary caravan. Please check back often (or better yet: subscribe to the mailing list) to keep yourself up-to-date on the afparty progress.

• The Afp 10th Anniversary Hedgehogs
  Bernard Pearson, aka the Cunning Artificer, has created two exclusive afp hedgehog figurines, and is cutting his own throat making them available to us for a mere pittance.

• The Hedgehog Files and The Hedgehog Song
  The (ASCII) Hedgehog is the official Afparty Mascot, because of its long-standing symbiotic relationship with the alt.fan.pratchett community.
