Long Term JavaBeans Persistence
This API supports a general mechanism for serializing JavaBeansTM.
The specification uses a portable standard that can be used for a number of formats and thus is well suited for serialization to and from
XML.
Platforms
The long-term JavaBeans persistence API is part of version 1.4 of JavaTM
2 Platform, Standard Edition (J2SETM).
Java Community Process
The long-term JavaBeans persistence specification is being developed through
the Java Community ProcessSM as
JSR-057.
