I'm tied up! What do I do?

1. Well, you can't really get free yourself.
2. The first thing to realize is that you can move from side to side.
3. The second thing to realize is that you're not completely tied up. Your feet are free.
4. The third thing to realize is that you can turn far enough to interact with a number of different items.
5. Items like the brazier full of hot coals (by using it).
6. Try kicking that over.
7. Once you've done that, you have access to hot coals. What could those be used for?
8. Have you tried kicking one at the pirate attacking Elaine?
9. Well, that didn't work. What other targets are there?
10. There's an unloaded cannon...
11. ...and a loaded cannon.
12. Get a hot coal with your feet. Turn until one of your action items is "kick the hot coal at the loaded cannon". Select that one. You'll end up shooting that cannon at the other ship, sinking it.
