I
downloaded the Assignment Editor, but it won't install!
Before you
extract the file, restart your computer. When the computer is booted up,
be sure to close ANY and ALL programs running. This includes any desktop
utilities, screen savers etc. The point of this is to free every ounce
of swap file space and memory for Windows.
Make sure your
TEMP directory (usually located in the Windows directory or on the C:\)
is empty before trying to install.
The file you
downloaded may damaged, which is why it is crashing during the extraction
process. In this case the solution
is to download
the file again, probably from a different web site.

I
downloaded a map made with the Assignment editor, but the map won't load!
If you do not have the map editor installed on the computer, make sure
you downloaded a the c32.emp
file in order to play the scenarios
made with the map editor.
Anyone who has not downloaded the editor has an older version
of the c32.emp file and will not be able to play the created maps.
Also, for maps/cities that do not load, if they were unzipped
cities you received from others or downloaded, they may have been corrupted.
That has happened occasionally.
