The file thrax.zip contains the following files:
thrax.map - The scenario to be played in the City Construction Kit.
thraxfin.sav - A saved city with an example of a finished game.
thrax.txt - This file.
Introduction
------------
This is my first Caesar III scenario. After finishing the peaceful and
military campaigns, I felt I had grasped the basic concepts of the game,
so I wanted to try to create something challenging, and something which
was different from the game scenarios. The result is Thrax.
There is no historical background to accompany the scenario. The title and
"setting" are borrowed from the novel The Sword of the Lictor by Gene
Wolfe, in which the city of Thrax was built in a canyon, with the temple
and palace areas to the north, the commercial districts down by the river
and the poor residential areas hugging the cliffsides.
