One of Ceasar's generals was stranded far to the north of Rome after another of Ceasar's hopeless battles. Rumor made it's way back to Rome that before this general died he saw a vision of enormous glory coming to this land. You decided to visit this land yourself, and upon seeing the strange landscape you understood the general's vision of glory.

Knowing that Ceasar was on his death bed, you promised him an army and a supply weapons in return for this land. Your offer was accepted, and you were soon governing a very rich province.

Unfortunately, when Caesar died his successor was even more demanding....

If you can civilize this land, defend it from a strange enemy, and keep your promise to Ceasar, then you will find the glory and prestige envisioned by the dying general.
