You are Governor of a small province. The fleeing Barbarian slaves have settled far from their Tiber river and the safety of Rome. The settlers of this Dangerous desert land are faced with many new challenges. No wheat for bread; there was no time to get seed. They must look elsewhere for food. Now at the mercy of the Gods, the only link to "home" is trading with their previous captors. A strong will of the people will show Rome that a great army can be built from the offspring of slaves. Sadly, they must defend this foreboding desert oasis from the local barbarians and any others who see it as a means to expansion. This means becoming slave lords themselves. You must prove yourself "roman" by holding what is yours and building a medium sized city full of great riches for patricians to enjoy. Prove to Caesar that you are the better governor.
